Title VI Nondiscrimination Program

The City of Gordon is committed to providing its programs, services, activities, and federally assisted projects in a fair and nondiscriminatory manner.
In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the city of Gordon does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, or national origin in the administration of its programs, services, activities, or benefits.
The City's Title VI Nondiscrimation Program, adopted by the Gordon City Council under Resolution No. 2026-09, establishes procedures to help ensure compliance with Title VI requirements. The Program includes procedures for recieving and processing discrimination complaints, providing language assistance to persons with limited English proficiency, encouraging meaningful public participation, reviewing City programs and activities for Title VI compliance, and monitoring applicable federally assisted contracts and projects.
