Informational Notice of Stage 1 Drought Contingency Close

Wednesday, Septemeber 9, 2026 Drought Contingency - Stage 1 as early as Monday Septemeber 14, 2026.

Due to current weather conditions including continued heat and low chance of signficant rainfall. Stage 1 is a Voluntary Conservation stage with a goal of reducing daily water demand by approx. 10%

At this time, Stage 1 has not been initiated. However, the City encourages everyone to begin conserving water now.

The city will continue to monitor Lake C.B. Long, water demand, and weather conditions.
