City Notes July 10 - Brush drop for impacted residents ends Saturday

Thanks to everyone who came out for the 4th of July celebration or enjoyed fireworks from afar! We love putting on this event each year.

Sharing some updates:

Tornado Recovery

> Brush drop (no pallets or trash) will be open 1-4 through Satuday, July 12 at the wastewater treatment plant on Cemetery Road. This is available to Gordon City residents only. 

> Roll-off dumpsters for tornado impacts households is moving from the railroad tracks to a new location east of Rusk and Walnut today. This is restricted to households impacted by the May 18 tornado. A private citizen has generously offered to let us use the location so thank you in advance for respecting privacy and not blocking traffic.
