City Notes May 26

Hello! We hope you are well today. Some updates:

> We are not able to accept brush at the wastewater treatment plan on Cemetery Road because it is too muddy. Check back tomorrow to see if we are able to reopen.

> Clean metal debris may be taken to the GISD fieldhouse until end of day Tuesday.

> The Command Center is open at the Community Center 9-5. Swing by and sign up if you are able to volunteer 8:45-1 or 1-5:15 this week or next. It is not difficult work.

> Juarez Taco will have carnitas at the Community Center at noon on Tuesday, May 27 and there are BBQ sandwiches today. If you are out working or just want to socialize come by.

> Community Committee will meet Tuesday at 6 and form the Oversight, Debris and "People" committees and meeting schedule. All who are able to roll up their sleeves and willing to play nicely with others are welcome.

There are still people out and about and we still have lots of folks ready to help- we just have to have more finely-tuned coordination because we are down to the more complex needs. If you are impacted, we are here with you.
