A few random things:
> The work downtown painting storefronts and awnings is an Economic Development Corporation (EDC) project that had been planned prior to the storm. It is unrelated to to the tornado.
> FEMA has no role in our recovery. Thankfully, we did not meet the damage criteria. A County disaster was declared and there are state and county agencies assisting us.
> I do not have direct information but I was advised there is a Community Dinner sponsored by Greystone Castle at Hink's at 5pm today - Hotdogs and Music. Check Facebook Vickie Sewell to confirm.
Congratulations to our Gordon Longhorns Baseball team headed to State!
