Gordon Tornado Relief Fund

Clear Fork Bank has established a Gordon City Relief Fund. While we may have churches and other entities collecting funds this is recommended recipient of collected funds so we can ensure there is a fair distribution of cash to victims or to compensate those who have provided bridge assistance or services.

Anticipated needs:

> Removal of large debris

> Offset insurance deductibles for those who need assistance

> Making homes habitable where insurance does not cover

> Temporary housing assistance

> Other basic health and safety needs

A process is being established to receive, consider, decision requests and then distribute funds with transparency and integrity. You have my promise there will be no monkey business. This is the best way to get funds to those who need it.

Checks are to be payable to Gordon Tornado Relief Fund and may be delivered to the Bank at 104 S Main across from City Hall or mailed to:

There is no mechanism for electronic payments so please be cautious and ensure you are donating to a trusted entity if you are not writing a check directly.

This is NOT limited to those in the city limits, though the expected benefit population resides in the city limits.
