Emergency Response Update May 19 10am

We are so grateful for the Judge Shane Long, ESD Fire Chief Danny Watkins, Emergency Manager Chad Jordan and the tireless Palo Pinto County crews who have mobilized to assist our community:

- Come to City Hall if you need anything. We are matching volunteers with needs. This includes housing or other longer terms needs.

- Texas Division of Emergency Management is conducting structural assessments.

- The National Weather Service is assessing the damage to determine the tornado rating, width and tracking.

- There are needs for portable generators. Please contact Gordon VFD or a county crew.

- Texas Baptist Men are in the area assisting residents.

- Notify City Hall if you have lost your poly dumpster.

- Brush (strictly brush - no trash) may be taken to the main sewer plant on cemetery road. Come by City Hall if you need directions. 

- There is food and water at Hink's.

- Be careful! There are still falling limbs and downed lines.

- Take a breath before entering into contracts.
