Emergency Response Update May 18 pm

During emergencies such as we experienced tonight Palo Pinto County assumes responsibility for response. Chad Jordan of PPCo Emergency Management provided the following update at 10:30pm:

  • Multiple agencies have been deployed including all ESD stations and door-to-door verifications have been completed and all citizens have been accounted for.
  • Individuals have been transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
  • Teams will remain on location through the night and clean-up will kick-off at 9am on Monday.

I was touched by the concern I saw from so many of you this evening and your willingness to help your neighbors. This was a very scary night and some of your have a lot of damage. Monday we will roll-up our sleeves and start cleaning up this mess.
